ABOUT OUR DISPLAY

DISPLAY STORY

Crosscreek Lights is an animated holiday light display in North Ridgeville, OH that is open to the general public for viewing.

Every light in our display can be individually controlled and include a single red, green, and blue LED. This means we can tell each LED what color to be at any given time. To control the lights and audio, we use xLights to program the animations to the lights. For each song, it can take 40-80 hours of programming to get it just right! We then use a computer that runs our show every night and it is set up with an automatic timer to start right at 6 PM and end at 10 PM. Then the main show computer talks to the individual light controllers outside through wired communication.

We have really enjoyed putting our efforts into our lights and being able to share them with Crosscreek and the neighboring communities. Hopefully, we will be able to continue to do so for the foreseeable future
